Our History

1987

Maren's grandmother, Ingrid, opens a single oven and a folding table on Elm Street, selling rye loaves to neighbors on her way to work.

1996

The bakery moves into its current storefront. The wood-fired oven — still in use today — is built by hand over six weeks.

2011

Maren takes over full-time, expands the menu to include pastries, and starts the sourdough culture we still bake with every day.

Today

Three generations, one ledger, and a lot of familiar faces every morning.
